Chapter 1: Requirements
Resources, like Node Layer, must be defined under the Resources menu to be visible in Production, so make sure this is done before proceeding.
Go to Setup → Resources and add node layer to your vessel (or ROV, under monitored equipment)

Chapter 2: Adding new production
Node Log lets you log node production types deployment and recovery over your node preplot.
Go to Logging → Production → Vessel/s and select the correct vessel/ROV
Use the “+” on the main toolbar to add a new node lay sequence

Assuming your nodes have a consistent station increment, node lay sequences can be created as a series of First Station/Start Good/End Good/Last Station entries, similar to the way that seismic source sequences can be defined.

Sequences can also be constructed as a series of individual Node Deployment and Node Recovery entries, each of which represents a single node, allowing for inconsistent station increments.

Each Node entry has several fields which need to be filled in

Use Generate Node Line Entries to auto automatically generate production events for a series of nodes

Finally populate the fields, before clicking Generate.
