Chapter 1: Importing Preplots

Go to Tools → Import and QC

Click the add “+” button next to the block you want to add a preplot to and select your preplot format.

Browse and select file

Check that the import settings on the right-hand side of the screen are correct

Select the import button on the toolbar to get data

Note: If you are shooting a 4D survey, make sure to import preplots which have positions of every shot point

Chapter 2: Preplot Checks

Go to Resources → Block

Check that the map looks correct and check the preplot totals on the block. These will get summed for all preplots you import on the block. 

You can select the production calculation type to show Points, kms or sq kms by selecting the production settings icon on the toolbar.

Chapter 3: Manual override of Preplot Totals

If your preplot totals cannot be calculated automatically from your preplot, you can adjust the total for the survey manually from the block resource.
