Chapter 1: Creating a New Operation

Creating a new operation in the Production Log

To create a new operation and start adding lines to the geophysical survey log, follow these steps:

Navigate to the production area, which is located under the logging main icon.

Make sure that you have selected the correct vessel and log type (geophysical survey log).

Click on the “Click to add entry” button to create a new operation.

Make sure that you have correct configuration for the operation selected and populate the other properties of the operation

Chapter 2: Recording Equipment States

To record weather and equipment states:

Navigate to the “QC Input” tab above the entry area.

Here you can record weather observations and SOL/EOL fixes

All of the equipment types added to the configuration will have a tri-state coloured button here which can be toggled between green (accepted), orange (may require a reshoot) and red (rejected)

These states can be viewed in the “Progress Map” tab as well as in the reports.

Chapter 3: Generating Vessel Timing from the Operations

Navigate to a vessel timing and select a day which you have already logged production on.

Select the ‘click to add entry’, and if there is production available, then you will get offered to generate the timing from the production automatically.
