Chapter 1: Adding files

Go to Tools → Import and QC.

Then click the “+” button and select the file type you wish to import. Files can be imported directly from the network drive, and you can select more than one file at a time.

When a file is added, import settings will appear on the right-hand side.

Important: Check that the automatically detected fields of Line number and Sequence are correct. These cannot be changed afterwards.

If they are not then untick the box highlighted below, and highlight the correct location in the full line name, or type a manual value.

Chapter 2: Setting up automated import folders

After adding a new file, you can set up an import folder.

This will open the import folder settings for this file type

Click the red button to enable the import folder

When the button turns green it will monitor the import folder for any new and updated files of the same file extension.

Finally click on the import files cog wheel on the file tree toolbar
